5 Apps All Busy People Need to Stay Healthy

If you are reading this, I assume you are a busy person with not a lot of time on your hands. I know you don’t want to read a long intro story. You just want to know the best health apps for busy people like yourself.

So let’s get straight to the point! Here are the 5 apps all busy people need to stay healthy.

5 Health Apps for Busy People

1. Productive

Productive is a fun and simple app that makes you stop and think about what you are actually doing to stay healthy everyday. This is important for busy people who may forget to prioritize health.

With this app you can set goals of daily health habits you would like to have, then track your progress and motivation.

2. Fooducate

If you don’t have time to cook and prefer to buy convenience foods such as frozen dinners and protein bars, Fooducate is for you. To make sure you are grabbing a healthy option, scan the bar code with Fooducate and it will tell you if it’s healthy or not.

The food finder feature will provide a health grade, explanation, nutrition facts and any healthier alternatives for the food you scanned.

3. Yummly

Busy but still want to cook healthy meals at home? You can save time by using Yummly to meal plan.

First, it provides a database of over 2 million recipes that you can customize with preferences like cooking skill level, diet and allergies. Then after saving your favorite recipes, you can easily schedule when you will make them to create a meal plan and grocery list. Yummly also provides nutrition information for its recipes so you can make sure you are planning healthy meals.

4. HIIT Workout

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. Basically, it’s high intensity short spurts of exercise with timed rest in-between. This is perfect for busy people because you will start breathing heavy in only a few minutes!

The shortest workout on the HIIT Workout app is 4 minutes. If you have more time then that, simply add more circuits to repeat the workout with rest intervals. For example, 2 circuits would be a 4-minute workout, short rest, then repeat of the 4-minute workout. The app also has a 10-minute and 20-minute workout.

5. Calm

Highly busy people can also be highly stressed. Take a moment away from your hectic life to become calm.

The Calm app provides excellent guided meditations to help lower stress and anxiety. It also has sleep stories and relaxing music to help you sleep. I personally enjoy listening to its calming sounds and music to increase my focus when working and writing.

If this post helped you, share it with your friends on social media.
